Aer Lingus fails to soar
The flight was an hour late and as I boarded, I mentioned to the stewardess “you’re late” in return I got a frosty look and she replied “the weather was bad”. Also, the aircraft was tatty to say the least with threadbare carpet and junk from previous flights.
I remarked on this to a fellow passenger and his reply was “let’s hope the engines are in better nick.” Maybe I am expecting too much from the national carrier but politeness and a clean and tidy aircraft are not too much to expect surely?
