Respect the Taoiseach

I CANNOT profess to being a fan of our Taoiseach or the Fianna Fáil Party, nor would I ever vote that way.

Yet, I am disgusted by the lack of respect afforded to him by both press coverage and public discourse over these famous caricatures. Brian Cowen is our Taoiseach, an elected member for Laois-Offaly and a family man.

He, in that position, should be respected regardless of policy (be it unpopular or not).

Those responsible for this attack on his character, and those who reported it so gleefully, should be ashamed.
