Health of Dairygold - Silence is not acceptable

THE former boss of Dairygold Co-op, Jerry Henchy, has been removed as chief executive of Reox Holdings, yet no explanation has been give to shareholders, employees or customers.

Mr Henchy left the top Dairygold job in January but only the vaguest explanation was given at the time.

We have become all too familiar with businesses acting as if they have no obligation to anyone other than a few highly placed employees.

All enquiries on the Dairygold and Reox developments have run into a wall of silence. This has fuelled a series of rumours that are in the very least damaging to the companies and worrying for employees and those who have invested heavily in the group.

Considerable investor wealth and hundreds of jobs are tied up in these operations and anything less than full transparency is unacceptable.
