Time up for a wonderful team at the brewery

SADLY, Beamish & Crawford (B&C) at South Main Street in Cork is being wound down before its closure at the end of this month after more than 200 years in the city.

Compared with many employees with up to 40 years’ service, I was still a “blow-in” when I retired after almost 17 years there.

As my friends and colleagues at Beamish & Crawford reluctantly say their goodbyes and prepare to move on, I want to wish all of them every possible success in their futures, whether it be with the Heineken Group or on whatever other paths they may take.
