HSE’s spend on public relations is revolting
Your recent expose of the €51 million spent by the HSE on PR is nothing short of revolting.
Not only is it disgraceful that highly paid people should be employing outsiders to attempt to perfume what is putrefying, but they should be asking for their money back under the Trade Descriptions Act.
It is patently obvious that these spin doctors have failed miserably in their PR job and should slink away in disgrace and refund their fees.
It is probably impossible to put a good face to the HSE’s activities, but to spend that amount of money trying to do so is scandalous.
These PR people are probably as expert as the so-called financial experts who told us a few weeks ago that we would have parity with sterling.
Recently it was heading south of 88p although it has recovered somewhat lately.
Thank God we are in the EU. If we were not we might be towed out into the Atlantic and placed beside Iceland.
