Hard workers

IN his column (March 7), Ryle Dwyer says “... the wasters in the bureaucracy will continue merrily milking the system”.

I wonder on what basis does he make this sweeping statement? Does he seek to imply that all or most public servants are “wasters”?

Perhaps instead of displaying his ignorance, Ryle Dwyer should actually do some research into the working lives of public servants in Ireland.
