Who are the elitists?

LIBERTAS has been keen to portray itself as a voice for ordinary people, standing up against the European “elites”. Now that it has launched itself as a political party, Declan Ganley has unveiled some of its leading members.

These include Lord Acton, the Baron of Liverpool and Viscount Philippe le Jolis de Villiers de Saintignon.

So a party led by a multi-millionaire, an unelected member of the House of Lords and a French nobleman descended from Louis XIV is condemning elitism and claiming to be a voice for the working man.

Surely this is some kind of wind-up?
