FF lands us with a toxic legacy

THE Government has nationalised Anglo Irish Bank and overnight the national debt has been greatly increased.

The taxpayer is now the owner of Anglo’s toxic assets and so must carry the burden for the greed that was practised by the key vested interests — builders, Fianna Fáil and the banks.

Something is rotten to the core in this country given that so many dodgy financial dealings have been taking place for years under the eye of our incompetent regulator and Government.
