Style of the Seanad

AS one who has to wear a gown to work, I noticed that the cathaoirleach of the Seanad looked a little undressed compared to the ceann comhairle in his splendid gown at the first Dáil anniversary ceremonies.

I suggest that an appropriate gown be provided for the cathaoirleach? Perhaps the design could be the subject of an open public competition?
