Pauper trail

I AM doing research on the Great Famine for a college project with the emphasis on the Earl Grey pauper immigration scheme between 1848 and 1850.

I am particularly interested in the emigration of girls from the Cork towns of Skibbereen, Macroom, Dunmanway, Bandon and Bantry.

I wish to hear from anyone who knows of relatives who travelled to Australia under this scheme from these places. Any documentation such as photos, letters, etc, will be used only to flesh out the story of the women as human beings rather than as a body of one-dimensional emigrants. All suggestions would be welcomed.
