THE LUAS has a fantastic security measure for preventing fisticuffs on Dublin’s light rail system.

The voice in the vending machine says “please take your ticket”.

You reach in. “And change.”

Eight heavy two euro coins fall on your knuckles, presumably rendering your fists useless.
