Veritas ban is nonsense

THE ban on Veritas radio advertising radio is a complete nonsense.

We are, like it or not, a Catholic/Christian country and the vast majority of us profess to be one or the other.

If this gives offence to people from other religions, then they have come to the wrong country.

I think the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland decided instead to take what it considered to be a politically correct decision for its own ends.

If so, then it was in fact, a religiously incorrect decision.

I’m sick and tired of bans on this and that, designed to soothe the feigned hurt of the few. I may never visit the Veritas shop, but I support its right to broadcast its message loud and clear.
