ROBERT MUGABE’S presidency has descended into insanity and chaos.

Thousands of the despot’s countrymen are dying, uncounted and invisible as a cholera epidemic sweeps the country like a biblical plague.

After years of spiralling inflation the country’s infrastructure has collapsed. Hospitals have closed, water supplies are fatally contaminated and corruption makes reform impossible. Even suggesting this has cost hundreds of Mugabe’s opponents their lives.
