Pork buyers should be compensated

Many people have bought pork for Christmas and they should not be at a financial loss as a result of having to destroy it.

The officials who control the bacon industry and the food safety agencies fail to appreciate that ordinary consumers cannot afford to be at a loss through no fault of their own.
