Airport and hospital parking charges insane

RECENTLY I returned to Cork from a long weekend in Wales, flying to Liverpool at the extremely reasonable rate of €59 return, including taxes, etc.

What a shock when I paid my car park charges in Cork: €36 from Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon. So taking a plane to and from England costs €59 while parking my car in one spot for the same time is €36.

Meanwhile, having taken a patient for a procedure that lasted less than two hours, it cost €4.40 to park in the hospital car park. There is only one word for this: insane.
