No incentive to teach in ‘sick’ buildings

EDUCATION Minister Batt O’Keeffe’s recent comments on teachers’ sick leave is yet another example of how far he seems to have his head buried in the sand, this time in relation to the structural inadequacies of so many schools all over the country.

If there are many teachers in schools of the same standard as our school, Gaelscoil na Camoige in Clondalkin, Dublin, then I would not blame anyone for taking time off from such disgusting working conditions.
