Seeing the light

THE standard tungsten light bulb is a thing of the past and should have been made obsolete a long time ago.

These bulbs have an energy rating five times worse than the new generation CFCs, or electronic light bulbs, offering great value for money and saving time on tedious replacement.

These bulbs also offer benefits to small children and careless adults who often get their fingers burnt by the traditional bulb because of its high operating temperature.

The cost of the new light bulbs is coming down all the time and when one adds up the cost of replacing old bulbs, the benefits are easy to see.
