Shane Geoghegan - Whose side are you on?

YESTERDAY was an especially sad day for Limerick but all of us should take a moment to pause and consider if we played a part in Shane Geoghegan’s murder.

In many aspects of life there are more grey areas than black and white ones but in this instance there can be no ambiguity. By supporting the culture that killed this fine young Irishman in any way we are culpable.

By buying a few lines of coke for the dinner party, the small packet of soft drugs for a weekend smoke, the dodgy DVD player or the “independently produced” CD, even smuggled cigarettes or diesel, we all strengthen the criminals who shot this innocent man to death.
