IT is a pity that the most recent Morris Tribunal report has a parting shot at two good public representatives, Jim Higgins and Brendan Howlin.

Those two honourable men did the state great service in having wrongdoing brought to public notice.

It is generally acknowledged that the can of worms exposed would never have been outed only for them and there would never have been a tribunal. How ironic then that their excellent role in the matter should be overshadowed by this unwarranted criticism.
