Quality crisis pregnancy counselling available
The Crisis Pregnancy Agency was set up in 2001 by the Government, following the recommendations of an All-Party Oireachtas Committee, and since its establishment the availability of State funded crisis pregnancy counselling has increased by 50% to more than 50 centres in 27 locations throughout Ireland.
Good quality crisis pregnancy counselling can reduce the sense of panic for a woman in a time of crisis in her life and can provide her with services and supports that will be of help to her.
