Will one famous son follow another into the dock?

I WAS interested to read that Charles ‘Chuckie’ Taylor Jnr, son of the former Liberian president of the same name, has been placed on trial in the United States for the crime of torture. This is a most welcome development.

However one wonders when this will be followed by the placing on trial of George ‘Dubya’ Bush Jnr, son of the former president of the same name, and his lieutenants Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc, for the same offence.

Surely, in the Land of the Free, what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander?
