Stop the lights

I SHARE Ronnie Plant’s concerns about the use of foglights in all weathers (Letters, September 3).

Sadly for all of us who are bemused/dazzled by this practice, there doesn’t seem to be much hope it will be stopped. Certainly the Garda Traffic Corps is not going to help the cause, when many of its drivers use their foglights all the time as well.
