Minister speaking for his masters on treaty vote

I DON’T think Europe Minister Dick Roche’s recent comments on an EU treaty rerun represent merely his own personal opinion.

Rather, it is quite evident that his masters, already with surveys and analyses, are preparing to violate the integrity of the Irish vote. European democracy can certainly pride itself on the fact that it is so tolerant of politicians who express opinions other that those of the electorate.

I wonder whether Mr Roche, who uses his political role to express private views, would be kind enough to use his public position to express my personal opinion: a second referendum on Maastricht, or yet a third one on Nice, just to be sure that Irish voters do not want to change their stances.
