Weather for peacocks

HAS anybody seen the Timoleague peacock?

Recently I spent some time touring in Co Cork. In Timoleague, I was fascinated to be greeted by a peacock strolling along the pavement.

He did not seem to be bothered by the bad weather.

After making enquiries, I discovered he belongs to a local woman and has enjoyed the freedom of the village for many years.

In relation to holidaymakers complaining about being stuck indoors due to the bad weather, maybe they should put on their waterproofs and get out and appreciate the simpler things in life.
