Rugby stands cut out light to nearby houses
People in the area are growing increasingly concerned about the problems when matches are held in the stadium.
Already their light has been reduced by the sheer size of the stands as the structure dwarfs all the houses surrounding it.
Furthermore it will be a nightmare when matches are held in the new grounds as parking will be a major problem and people in Ballynanty could find themselves blocked into their own homes.
Some local people living in the shadow of the grounds are now talking about raising these issues with the rugby authorities.
While those who sold their homes to the IRFU to make way for the extension of Thomond Park were fully compensated, their neighbours are now in line to suffer from the expansion of the grounds without any discussion or consideration.
Before major games are slated for Thomond Park, now is the time to raise these issues and come up with acceptable solutions.
