Let Europe decide

WE Irish, like most Europeans, gladly pool a lot of national sovereignty but balk at the idea of a superstate.

It was not clear how far along that road the Lisbon Treaty would have taken us. The time has now come for EU leaders comprehensively to outline their plans (including different options) for European integration and let all the people of Europe decide by direct vote.
