Well done Iris, you’ve shown the true face of the DUP to the world

I FOUND it very interesting to say the least to read Steven King’s column (July 30) “It’s thanks to you Mrs Robinson as Tories turn their backs on DUP”.

It was refreshing to read an honest unionist’s analysis of the state of unionism now that the Conservatives and the UUP may merge.

Iris Robinson has indeed done fierce damage to the perception of the DUP among Conservative MP’s in London. They had the opportunity to show a nicer face to the world now that they are the largest party in Northern Ireland and hold the office of the First Minister.
