Loss of trust?

THE majority of our politicians failed to convince the majority of the active electorate to accept the Lisbon Treaty.

Is it because we don’t trust or believe them anymore, or that we didn’t like their attitude trying to sell us something which, perhaps, many of them did not fully understand themselves?

A good salesperson knows the product.

Or are voters regretting that one year ago they elected politicians who subsequently cobbled together a government which continues to fail our sick and our children.
