Top-class care from cheerful medical crew
On March 19 last, I was on my way to the South Infirmary hospital with cardiac problems but as we approached Midleton, I was getting worse and my husband drove me to the local hospital where I received wonderful care immediately from the staff and paramedics.
I was given treatment there before being taken by ambulance to the South Infirmary.
As a community, we are so lucky to have this facility so close to us and indeed should never underestimate the fantastic work that our emergency technicians do in getting us to hospital in such a speedy manner while all the time managing to be so upbeat and friendly despite the patient’s understandable stress and anxiety.
I have had to be taken by ambulance to hospital twice in the last 12 months and I cannot possibly thank these wonderful, hardworking and cheerful people enough.
May God bless them for all their efforts and kindness.
