Growing public anger over health shambles

All RESPONSIBLE for the mess in the health service should realise that a wave of anger has built up among ordinary people who can’t understand why they can’t get a hospital bed when needed and if they finally manage to get one, they will then have to fear contracting a number of fatal diseases.

Growing public anger over health shambles

The calamitous approach to resolving the problems, the greed and callous outlook of some vested interests within the service and the laid-back approach of the Government and the Dáil to this national disaster all reflect shamefully on us as a people and a state.

It is time the silent majority told all responsible — “enough is enough”.

No more seriously ill people lying on trolleys in corridors and equal treatment for all seriously ill people throughout the service — these minimal rights are now denied us. The HSE is an an abuse of public finances.

This scandal must end.
