YOUR report (April 24) on the forthcoming ‘Lee Valley road closure’ relates to the N22 between Macroom and Ballymakeera.

But this road is in the valley of the Sullane, not of the Lee.

Why should the hallowed name of a storied river have to give place to a misleading and geographically inaccurate usage?
