Barroso target of a disgraceful attack
She said Barroso should stop interfering in Irish affairs and that he should stay out of the country during this EU referendum campaign.
Barroso was invited to address the National Forum on Europe meeting and, after his address, took questions from all participants, including Ms McKenna.
It is worth noting she had no problems with Jens Peter Bonde, one of the leaders of the no campaign in Europe, addressing the same forum on March 6 last.
It appears Ms McKenna only has a problem with democratically elected European leaders commenting on the Irish referendum once they come from the yes side.
But if you come from the no side, you are most welcome to come to Ireland and put forward your case.
