Making sense of cents

ACCORDING to Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern (April 5), there is not a “red cent in the Exchequer” for the proposed northeast hospital.

The hospital, possibly to be located in Navan, could cost €650 million.

The M3 could cost at least €800m, and most likely more — possibly €1 billion.
