Tarnished legacy for a young politician

BEVERLEY FLYNN has been welcomed back into Fianna Fáil, with her colleagues saying it is her natural home, and how could any of us doubt it?

Fianna Fáil is the most corrupt party in the history of this State, and how homely that must be for Beverley who assisted clients to evade tax while working at National Irish Bank.

With the resignation of the Taoiseach, some of us were foolish enough to think it would signify a clean sweep for Fianna Fáil and a fresh start.

As a new and young politician, I’m tired of people saying politicians are all the same.

That is this Taoiseach’s legacy to me.

Thank you, Mr Ahern, for tarnishing politics and casting all politicians in your own light.
