Natural wealth better than the manicured kind
While I believe such a development would be detrimental to the local environment and wildlife, I will focus here in what I know best: myself.
As a relatively poor person, my life is immeasurably enriched by the amenities in the area — the beaches, the quiet roads, the clifftop walks, all of which I avail of year-round. This coast can easily match or even surpass Big Sur in California or the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, to name but two.
