Long, muddy road

DESPITE his clean-cut appearance and campaigning style, I feel Barack Obama is just too good to be true.

On the other hand, the Republican presidential candidates have chosen not to mention President Bush during their 2008 campaign. Smart move.

There’s a long way to go before election day and I don’t know what the deal is in clobbering us over the head with speeches and mudslinging. It could be a real turn-off over the long haul.
