Hospital staff helped us overcome our loss

TWO months ago, while holidaying in Cork I was admitted to Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH).

Hospital staff helped us overcome our loss

I was 26 weeks pregnant at that time and shortly after admittance we were told that our little baby had died.

As you can imagine, the shock and turmoil we experienced is unimaginable, but we would like to pay tribute to the wonderful people who looked after us during the five days we spent there — Dr Dan McKenna and Dr Fergus McCarthy for their attention and care; Sister Eleanor and Anne Marie Verling for their advice and support, all the midwives in Ward 4 South and the labour ward who are such wonderful, dedicated individuals.
