NOW we are experiencing one of the results of a Nice referendum re-run — and the potential of the EU ‘constitution’/treaty.

Our Government has no say in the matter of school water charges. It is |European law – end of story. No derogation, no amelioration, no half charges. (Also on the cards, VAT on books, VAT on children’s clothing — remember what happened to John Bruton).
