I FULLY support the Government’s clampdown on L-drivers on second provisional licences driving unaccompanied by a fully qualified driver.

I believe the range of measures the Government is going to introduce regarding road safety makes sense and is long overdue.

Perhaps there was a little too much haste in the original plan to ban all L-drivers on second provisional licences from driving unaccompanied, but the revised plan gets it just about right. I also welcome restricted engine capacity for L-drivers.
