As a taxpayer facing what might be an unsettled economic outlook, I can only hope that now, with the extra money in their pay packets, these public representatives will not be tempted by rezoning deals or have to rely on dig-outs from their mates around the dinner table for income support, thus saving us all a fortune in tribunal costs.
