French connection

IN his letter headlined ‘Too much hot air over wind power’, John Stafford (September 26) says that “France, in particular, gets no part of its electricity supply from wind”.

I visited a wind farm west of Douarnenez in Brittany last year; there was a viewing point with an information display panel.

I have just done an internet search for ‘French Wind Farms’ and found quite an amount of information.
