Pregnant pause?

WHILE supportive of the Irish Cancer Society’s recommendation, if the Department of Health insists that cigarette packets carry a warning regarding the damage caused to a foetus by the mother’s smoking (October 6), this will be the mother of all contradictions as the same department denies funding to pregnancy counselling agencies that refuse to back abortion as a “positive option”.
