Grateful thanks to fellow passengers
An hour from Bodrum, I collapsed in the aisle of the plane and was unconscious for most of the remainder of the journey.
A nurse whom I only know as Breda, from Limerick, came to my aid, and I thank her for her care and help.
A wonderful lady in the seat behind fanned me continuously until I came to. I am convinced that without her efforts, I would not have regained consciousness. I cannot thank her enough.
Another kind lady pressed rosary beads into my hand and I will treasure them always.
To all the passengers who moved seats to let me lie down, who lifted me off the floor and who covered me with their own and their children’s jackets to keep me warm, I say a sincere thank you.
I only know of their kindness through my partner, as I obviously have no memory of anything after I collapsed, but I want them to know how grateful I am.
A Mass has been offered for their intentions.
