TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern has admitted to feeling dejected and humiliated by the Irish rugby team’s defeat at the hands of Les Bleus at the weekend.

Mr Ahern attended the match at the Stade de France on Friday night with French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Mr Ahern also officially declared open the library collection of 9,000 books at Ireland’s Cultural Centre in Paris.
