We’re barking mad - Haute cuisine for dogs? It’s gone too far

NOT content with turning our prepubescent daughters into playground Lolitas, it seems we’ve decided to confer membership of the slow food movement on our dogs.

Irish Dogs for Fine Dining as it were.

Irish stew with lamb, potatoes, carrots and barley; mediterranean chicken with green beans and pasta in tomatoes; beef with carrots and haricot beans in onion gravy, as well as lamb terrine with garden peas in a mint jelly are some of the options being used to tease bewildered dog owners. The wonder is that they don’t offer low cal, low fat or vegetarian options. Maybe dairy-free for the really sensitive tabbies.
