ONCE again the corrupt Charles Haughey has been honoured by a small group of Dingle people for alleged favours granted to the town (Irish Examiner, August 20).

They should not be surprised if many tax-compliant citizens who worked hard to provide tax funds for the development of Dingle see this annual ritual as an affront to their efforts.
