Shops for the record

The newly-established media company, Pure Cork, is creating, with the blessing of the National Heritage Council, a video archive of many of the older, traditional shops throughout Cork city and county.

All old shops — grocers, butchers, tailors, blacksmiths, etc — will be included in the archive being created for the sake of posterity.
