Amnesty ‘betrayal’

IN adopting a formal policy in favour of abortion at its recent meeting in Mexico, Amnesty International has betrayed the vision of its founders and it no longer deserves to be described as a human rights organisation. Amnesty members who respect human life should resign immediately in protest at this policy.

Abortion is not a human right — it is a human wrong because it is the direct and deliberate taking of an innocent human life.

Hopefully the reaction of right-thinking people to Amnesty’s pro-abortion stance will lead to the formation of a new international organisation that will defend the basic human rights of all, born and unborn.
