Media should give celebrities the boot

WHY are so-called celebrities constantly on the front pages of newspapers and magazines as well as on countless TV ‘entertainment’ shows. The media must answer the obvious question: which part of ‘we don’t care’ do you not comprehend? The war in Iraq and Afghanistan, tension in the Middle East and important domestic issues should take precedence over these unfunny air-heads. It’s time for the media to clean house and put things in their proper perspective.
