Reversal of fortune

A CATHOLIC priest is visiting our parish in Davis, California. I thanked him for coming from the rich country of Ireland to our poverty-stricken USA.

The World Bank says Ireland is now richer than the US according to the Atlas method, which is based on ordinary exchange rates.

I told the priest we may be poor, but we are rich in faith.
